We are glad to announce that we have finished our visualizations and report for this course. It has been a long and challenging journey not only due to the complexity of the project but also because of all the changes that we had to face and overcome (Yes, I am talking about you...covid19!). However, we were lucky to work together on this project. Thanks, IMMA!
The last challenge for this course is that we have to create a video and upload it to YouTube. To this end, I explored several options to record the screen of my laptop along with the audio. In my first try, I noticed the low quality of the microphone of my laptop so I knew that I had to search for an alternative way of doing it.
I gave iMovie a try and I was impressed of how easy and intuitive it is to create a video with it. You can upload several tracks, photos, or slides, you can even add text or images on top of the video track. Also, you can record the audio and place it wherever you need to...and many many more features that make your life easier!
In the next days, we are going to create our last post explaining in detail our interactive visualizations and we will also include a video of it. For now, we prepare a little trailer of the project for this course.
